We are often asked the question “What did you learn this year?” by supporters, community members, volunteers, and friends. And, honestly, it’s one of our favorites.
We are committed to being an organization that is constantly learning and improving—about what needs exist in our community, how best we can serve, and where we need to stretch ourselves to function more effectively. Constantly asking this question makes us better every year.
So what did we learn this past year?
In Good Samaritan’s 2022 Annual Report, you’ll read about what we learned throughout the year as needs continued to change, pandemic-era programs ended, and new initiatives began. You’ll see how our four program areas—preventing homelessness, housing solutions, sustainable partnerships, and supportive services—all made an impact on our mission to end homelessness in Ottawa County. And you’ll see there’s still much work to do.
