The Board of Directors is pleased to announce the selection of Erin Kamphuis as the next Executive Director of Good Samaritan Ministries. Erin emerged as the clear choice after an extensive search process led by the Board of Directors, distinguishing herself not only throughout the interview process but also through her exceptional leadership and service over the past four years at Good Samaritan.

Erin most recently served as Director of Finance & Administration, where she led Good Samaritan’s accounting, human resources, and grant management, and served as a key member of the leadership team. In this capacity, Erin demonstrated a commitment to excellence and a collaborative approach that is emblematic of our culture.

The Board of Directors evaluated candidates against criteria aligned to our mission, vision, and strategic plan. Despite receiving applications from numerous qualified candidates, the Board is delighted to recognize and advance exceptional talent developed within our organization.

We are confident in Erin’s ability to guide our mission of ending poverty and homelessness in Ottawa County and to continue strengthening the important work we do each day. Her clear vision for the future is firmly aligned with Good Samaritan’s mission and she demonstrated a capability to build on our momentum.
