We’re in this to end homelessness.
Housing is a human right.
Good Samaritan serves every person in Ottawa County, Michigan, at-risk of becoming homeless or currently experiencing homelessness.
All Are Welcome
To receive our services you don’t have to be anyone other than yourself. We operate our services without discrimination and do everything we can in our processes to continually reduce bias. Good Samaritan provides services to every person, regardless of race, color, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, ability, age, marital or family status, or immigration status. All are welcome and safe.
What That Means
We serve as the central intake point for anyone experiencing homelessness (living in a local shelter, safe haven, transitional housing program, or a place not fit for human habitation such as a car or on the street). Our housing program serves anyone who qualifies for our services, but when schedules fill up, we prioritize families with the greatest need.
We also serve anyone living in a rental unit who is facing an eviction due to unpaid rent. We currently prioritize families who are involved in the court process, and always encourage you to speak with your landlord and start a payment plan right away to avoid eviction.
